Payment links¶
Some site builders don't allow third-party payment gateways at all. For those, and anywhere else you want a simple Pay button, use an Oura payment link.
Works with Squarespace, Webflow, Hostinger Website Builder, Ecwid, plain HTML, social media bios and chat apps.
Create a link¶
The simplest way is in the dashboard: create a payment link, set the amount, and copy the URL.
If you host the payment-link service yourself, generate links from the command line:
npm run make-link -- 100000 https://your-site.com/thank-you NPR
# → https://pay.your-domain.com/pay?amount=100000¤cy=NPR&redirect=...&sig=...
100000 is in paisa, so this link charges NPR 1,000.00. The amount and the thank-you URL are signed into
the link, so a customer can't change the amount.
Add it to your site¶
- Squarespace: add a Button block and paste the link.
- Webflow: add a Link block or button with the link as an external URL.
- Hostinger Website Builder: add a Button and paste the link.
- Ecwid: use the link as an external payment option.
-
Anywhere else:
After paying, the customer lands on your thank-you URL with ?oura_status=succeeded&oura_payment_id=….
Reconcile with webhooks
The redirect is for the customer. To match payments to orders reliably, also point an Oura webhook at your own backend.
