Plugins and no-code¶
You don't need to write code to take payments with Oura. Install a plugin for your store, or share a payment link.
Every plugin is a thin adapter over the same Payments API and follows the same rules: amounts in paisa, NPR only, server-side signature checks, and orders marked paid exactly once.
| Platform | How it works | Status |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce | WordPress payment gateway | Self-hosted, install any time |
| Magento / Adobe Commerce | Payment method module | Self-hosted, beta |
| PrestaShop | Payment module | Self-hosted, install any time |
| OpenCart | Payment extension | Self-hosted, install any time |
| CS-Cart | Payment add-on | Self-hosted, beta |
| Shopify | Payments App | Waiting for Shopify partner approval |
| Wix | Payment provider app | Waiting for Wix approval |
| Squarespace, Webflow, Hostinger, Ecwid | Payment link or pay button | Available |

What every plugin needs¶
From the Oura dashboard:
- Secret API key (
sk_test_…to try it,sk_live_…to go live) - Webhook secret
- API base URL:
https://api.ourapayment.com - Methods: a comma-separated list such as
esewa,khalti. See Payment methods.
Then set your store's webhook URL (shown on each plugin's page) as the webhook endpoint in the dashboard.
How orders are confirmed¶
Checkout → plugin creates an Oura payment → customer goes to Oura checkout → customer pays
→ webhook to your store (authoritative) ─┐
→ customer returns (browser) ─┴→ signature verified → order marked paid once
The webhook is the source of truth. The customer's return is only for a smooth experience. Both verify the signature and both are safe to run, because marking an order paid twice does nothing.
